The Imaging Source series of microscope cameras has been designed to be a cost-effective, versatile solution for demanding microscopy applications. The cameras, which are equipped with a distortion-free 5.3 mm (35 mm equivalent) auto-focus lens, allows the user to capture exactly what an observer sees through the ocular, not just a region of interest, which is common of traditional microscope imaging solutions. The cameras can take the place of the ocular or can be screwed into the microscope's C-mount adapter.
Windows Software: The Imaging Source authors and supports device drivers for LabView, HALCON, DirectX, Twain and WDM, the SDK IC Imaging Control and software tools for Microsoft Windows.
Linux Software: The Imaging Source authors and supports open source drivers and end-user software for Linux, the source code of which is released under Apache 2.0 license.
