FireWire: What is DCAM?
In our last newsletter, we took a look at the topic of FireWire and mentioned the so-called DCAM protocol. Several newsletter subscribers asked us to provide a more detailed discussion on this protocol. Indeed, this protocol plays a very important role as only cameras that adhere to this protocol can be classified as using the international FireWire standard.
