Telecamere USB

Con l'arrivo di USB 2.0, l'interfaccia più diffusa del mondo è finalmente utilizzabile anche per le applicazioni industriali. Telecamere industriali emettono dati video senza compressione e per questo hanno bisogno di un'interfaccia ad alta larghezza di banda - come per esempio USB 2.0. Questa interfaccia si distingue per due vantaggi principali: a) ogni PC ne ha una e b) è molto semplice da usare. The Imaging Source produce telecamere USB industriali con sensori CCD e CMOS. Tutte le telecamere USB industriali vengono fornite con driver, software per utenti finali ed un SDK.

L'interfaccia USB 2.0 è un fattore chiave per la semplificazione delle applicazioni di visione artificiale. Per questo le telecamere USB The Imaging Source sono disponibili con una vasta gamma di sensori fotografici:

La risoluzione dei sensori CCD va da 640x480 a 1280x960 pixel. Tutte le telecamere USB CCD utilizzano sensori ad alta sensibilità e basso rumore con un global shutter.

I sensori CMOS integrati nelle telecamere USB The Imaging Source offrono risoluzioni da 744x480 a 2048x1536 pixel. I vantaggi principali dei sensori CMOS sono il prezzo ed il consumo energetico basso. Il sensore a 744x480 pixel ha un global shutter mentre tutti gli altri sensori sono basati su un rolling shutter.

Come tutte le altre telecamere industriali, le telecamere USB The Imaging Source sono disponibili con gli I/O digitali ed un ingresso trigger. Nel modo trigger, le telecamere catturano un'immagine generata da un impulso esterno. Normalmente, un impulso del genere viene a sua volta generato da un processo industriale.

Economici obiettivi mini per le telecamere ad attacco CS

Tutte le telecamere USB hanno un robusto contenitore industriale, un attacco CS e un adattatore da attacco CS ad attacco C. È anche possibile usare obiettivi con una filettatura M12x0.5 usando un adattatore optional. Il prezzo di questi obiettivi è molto basso e così il prezzo complessivo del sistema che consiste di telecamera e obiettivo è ridotto drasticamente.

Software e driver inclusi

Le telecamere USB vengono fornite con tanti componenti software

Tutte le telecamere USB vengono fornite con driver WDM che rendono le telecamere compatibili con DirectShow e DirectX e con driver per TWAIN, LabVIEW®, HALCON, ActivVisionTools e la Matrox Imaging Library MIL.

Inoltre, si trovano IC Capture (un software per gli utenti finali) ed IC Imaging Control (un SDK) nel contenuto della confezione di tutte le telecamere USB.
