The Imaging Source expands its embedded camera portfolio with ON Semi's 2MP CMOS digital imaging sensor, AR0234. The monochrome and color sensors can be found in The Imaging Source's MIPI CSI-2 sensor modules, MIPI CSI-2 and FPD-Link III board cameras as well as the IP67-certified FPD-Link III cameras.

Leveraging a new global-shutter pixel design, the sensor provides the high dynamic range needed to capture precise images even under fluctuating lighting conditions and enables precise imaging of moving scenes with almost no image artifacts. The cameras deliver clear, low-noise images and true 1080p resolution, making them the perfect choice for a wide range of applications, including scanning, autonomous mobility, surveillance and industrial quality control.

Up to 60 fps at full (1920x1200) resolution; higher frame rates possible with lower resolutions
