The 8.3 MP rolling-shutter camera combines high near-infrared sensitivity with software-driven autofocus, making it well suited for applications where object distance or system geometry continuously changes. Available now as a prototype, it also provides an attractive upgrade path for existing 6.3 MP autofocus systems. |
