Which S-Ultra M12 Lenses Are Compatible With the New Aptiris Autofocus Cameras?

The compatibility of the S-Ultra M12 lenses was extensively tested using TBN lenses with an image circle of 1/2" and above to ensure broad support across the different sensor variants of the Aptiris Autofocus USB 3.1 camera series.

The evaluation was performed using the AR2020 sensor. As a result, slight variations in the maximum focusing distance may occur with certain lenses, especially the TBN 3.4 5MP, depending on the sensor used. This is caused by small differences in the optical plane height of different sensors.

Overall, the tests showed very good mechanical and optical compatibility. Limitations may only occur when using longer focal lengths in combination with short working distances.
