Visus IP67 GigE Cameras Enter Series Production

Charlotte, NC, United States (September 28, 2026) - The Imaging Source's compact Visus IP67 GigE industrial cameras are now in series production, bringing rugged IP67 protection, modern image sensors, and GigE connectivity to space-constrained machine vision applications.

Designed for OEMs, system integrators, and machine builders, the Visus IP67 Series combines a compact 43 × 43 × 34.5 mm housing with industrial connectivity and a coordinated range of IP67-compatible accessories, providing a ready-to-integrate imaging platform for demanding industrial environments.

Compact IP67 Imaging for Industrial Environments

Machine vision systems increasingly need to operate close to the process, where cameras may be exposed to dust, water, cleaning processes, or other challenging environmental conditions. At the same time, limited installation space can make conventional protected camera housings difficult to integrate.

The Visus IP67 Series addresses both requirements in a compact industrial camera platform. With IP6K6 and IP6K7 ingress protection, the cameras are designed for applications where reliable imaging and a robust, sealed housing are essential.

Typical applications include robotics, factory automation, warehouse logistics, food processing, agriculture, and automotive manufacturing, with imaging tasks ranging from barcode and QR code reading to robot guidance, pick-and-place, package inspection, defect detection, and assembly verification.

The Visus IP67 Series is available with a selection of Sony and onsemi global- and rolling-shutter sensors covering resolutions from 3.1 MP to 20 MP. This range allows system designers to select the appropriate balance of resolution, imaging performance, and sensor characteristics for their application.
