Driver Version Mismatch in Windows Device Manager and IC Capture
The driver version shown in Windows Device Manager may differ from the version displayed in IC Capture.
In Device Manager, Windows displays the kernel driver version, which must be digitally signed by Microsoft.
In IC Capture, the service version of the driver is shown instead.
If a driver update only includes changes to the service component, the previously signed kernel driver will continue to be used. As a result, the version shown in Device Manager may not change, even though the driver has been updated.
